When I purchased my first set of these ‘phones, the cables quickly became intermittent. The warranty replacement ‘phones soon broke at the cup-head band joint. I would have expected more from a .99 headphone. Yes, the headphones were only .99 when they first came out.
The second warranty replacement was the start of something great. These headphones were so good that within six months I had purchased another pair – this time they cost me from amazon. These headphones are quite good in their sound quality. Sound definition is tremendous and the quieted environment allows you to hear sounds you never knew were there! Base is tight and full ranged. Highs are crisp, without being headache inducing. The construction is solid. The only problem I have had to deal with was the cushion on the pads coming loose in the Florida sun and heat. Some well placed drops of Super Glue permanently corrected that problem!
Are they worth the current asking price? Maybe. They are as good as the Bose and much cheaper. They are a bit hot; but hey, they’re over the ear and sound isolating – what do you expect?
